How to get there -  by air

Nearest airport is Kittilä (48 km). Finnair serves Kittilä from Helsinki at least twice a day, under weekends and during the holiday-seasons much more frequently. Also Blue1 serves Kittilä from Helsinki during high-season. Finnair and Blue1 serves Rovaniemi (ca.200 km) airport from Helsinki several times a day.

How to get there -  by train

Nearest train stations are Kolari (107 km) and Rovaniemi (ca.200 km). There are several bus connections a day between Rovaniemi and Rauhala. To Kolari there is a bus connection during high-season.
