 Walkikeimiö Lodge 

Walkikeimiö - a peaceful place for your Holiday Stay -  wellcomes You to the shores of the idullic Lake Jeris, 200 km north of the Polar circle, in the middle of the 100 km long chain of Fells. The chain of fells are also the area of the National Park of Pallas-Yllästunturi. - The Fells are the mountains of Lapland.

Accommodation

With the rooms for 2 and 4 persons we offer place totally for 20 persons.   We provide accommodation with affordable prices with full board; breakfast, lunch bag ( proviant), dinner, evening coffee/tee. Next to the lake our sauna offers a beautifull view and also  a nice swimming place from the sauna directly into the Summer or Winter Lake. Open Dining room  and a room with fireplace offers a nice lounge for your  gatherings  in the evening time.  

Activities

For active day tours you just cross the Rauhala-Pallas road and there you are - in the wilderness in an idealic hiking and cross-country skiing area with its tempting paths and tracks.

You will find Keimiötunturi Fell just next to your "doorsteps" as well as the well maintained ski tracks of Muonio.
In the summer time one can easily concure the Fell Keimiötunturi within 2 hours and Sammaltunri is a suitable target for a day tour.
Within 15 km distance one reaches the  Pallas Fells and the Nature Center of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.

If the downhill skiing is your favourite  the first sloaps you will find in Pallas ( ca 15 km) and in Olos ( ca 15 km), in Levi  ( ca 45 km), in Ylläs ca 55 km ( 1/2 hours by car)

Fishing

Jerisjärvi Lake is well known from its fish. Fishermans catch might include whitefish, perch, trout, pike and vendace.
Walkikeimiö personell will help you with Information of fishing liceses and license fees.

We offer you also a variety of guided activity pagages from which to choose for your holiday stay.
There is something for everyone -   shot programmes from 1-3 hours , a bit longer 1 - 2 days and even longer 3-6 days tours and programmes which you can add into your holiday stay.

Our programmes welcomes you to ski tours snow shoe tours and other  winter adventures with snowmobiles, huskies, reindeers and others  in snowy Lapland. Our summer program includes   canoeing, hiking and mountain biking from Midsummer till autumn colour tours.
